Why I’m Running for Lawrence Township Committee
Honoring our roots, building our future-committed to transparency, election integrity, and a stronger Lawrence Township.

Standing Up to Intimidation:

Running for local office is supposed to be about ideas, service, and making our community stronger, not about bullying or backroom pressure.

Recently, I experienced firsthand what happens when leaders in our local political scene feel threatened by my vice and candidacy for committee. Lawrence Township, had their attorney contact me in what I believe was an attempt to intimidate me. The message was clear: cancel the Woody meet and greet, or there will be unknown consequences, to unknown State or local laws. I asked again for facts, only to be told that the attorney's opinions were facts.” I later received another phone call from the township lawyer stating, That he could find no such state law or township ordinance that my meet and greets would be in violation of. See email for documentary proof, not opinion.

Let me be clear, I will not be silenced.

When I decided to run for Lawrence Township Committee, I did so because I believe our community deserves honesty, transparency, and new leadership that works for everyone, not just the well-connected. I believe in speaking openly to the public, meeting with residents face-to-face, and being accountable for my words and actions. That is what democracy looks like.

I won’t back down, and I won’t be intimidated. I’ll continue to speak with residents, attend community events, and share my vision for a township government that listens to you.

If you've ever felt like politics is closed off to regular people, if you’ve ever been discouraged from getting involved, know that you’re not alone. And know that I’m fighting to change that.

Let’s make our local government about service, not silence.

Quick Bio:

Cedarville is more than just a town—it's a community built on family, generosity, and shared experiences. For generations, my family has been deeply rooted here, from delivering food to those in need with my grandfather to continuing that legacy today through our local food pantry. My childhood was shaped by the simple joys of Cedarville Lake, my father’s hard work, and the values my family instilled in me. Now, as I raise my own children in the home I inherited, I am committed to preserving our small-town spirit while embracing new opportunities for Lawrence Township. I ask for your support as I work to strengthen our community for generations to come.
