Moving to the 21st century, while remembering our roots
As we reflect on our cherished childhood memories in Cedarville, Lawrence Township, NJ, it's time to ensure our town evolves into the 21st century while honoring its rich history. I'm Charlie Woody, and I've created this website to share my vision for our community. I will be running for Township Committee in the primary election on June 10, 2025. Join me as we explore my plans for a brighter future for our families and a place our children will proudly remember. Feel free to navigate my webpage to learn more about my agenda and how we can work together for a better Cedarville.
Quick Bio:
Cedarville is more than just a town—it's a community built on family, generosity, and shared experiences. For generations, my family has been deeply rooted here, from delivering food to those in need with my grandfather to continuing that legacy today through our local food pantry. My childhood was shaped by the simple joys of Cedarville Lake, my father’s hard work, and the values my family instilled in me. Now, as I raise my own children in the home I inherited, I am committed to preserving our small-town spirit while embracing new opportunities for Lawrence Township. I ask for your support as I work to strengthen our community for generations to come.
Platform Summary:
I am committed to transparency, community revitalization, and public safety in Lawrence Township. Taxpayers deserve clear financial accountability, live-streamed meetings, and accessible housing resources for seniors and low-income families. I will push for fixing County Road 553, ensure public safety transparency regarding developments like 393 Main St., and create safe, engaging spaces for children through partnerships that don’t burden taxpayers. Together, we can strengthen our community and preserve its future.
